WHAT DOES IT COST?
There are several factors that affect the cost of an album or EP.
Number of tracks, instrumentation, session fees, mixing costs, etc, etc, etc.
ABUM IN A YEAR PROJECT BUDGETS range from:
6 Track EP
$20k - $8k
10 Track Album
$35k - $20k
These numbers are estimates only. Album in a Year project budgets are developed for each artist’s project individually. Various payment plans are available lasting up to 2 yrs.
There are some cases that major projects may be cheaper, eg a solo acoustic album or a small ensembles that play live and require little overdubs.
DO YOU DO PAYMENT PLANS?
Yes absolutely, initial deposits range from 20-50% depending on the budget and timeline. The remainder can be paid in by direct debit instalments over the life of the project.
* if you don’t have a marketing plan, budget or funding, and/or enough songs for an EP or Album I recommend doing the Artist Development pathway before the Album in a Year. It will prepare you in all aspects!!
